Does anyone apply leg oil when it’s sunny? It doesn’t have sulphur in it and I’ve used it loads before, but never when the sun has been out.

Absolutely don't. You are heading towards a big vet bill and a very sore horse, especially if it has white legs/socks.

Think about what oil does to meat in the kitchen. Never use in hot climates

Alas not a hot climate- Scotland 
I left it though as that was my gut feeling too. I’ll wash them again and oil when the sun leaves us again- no doubt soon

Rub it in why don’t you lol…about Scotland having sun I mean. Nope no oil in sunshine.
