I'd feel happier booting up for lunging sessions, so I'm looking at tendon and fetlock boot sets - cos I don't have a lot of money :D So far I've found the Tottie ones - which look nice if a little jazzy (I like the white though) and the John Whitaker sets (about a tenner more). Does anyone have any other recommendations? Around the £30 mark (or less!) would be good, and I do think I like white, though I can't find many pictures of white boots on white socks... thoughts?!

I would go for overreach boots and brushing boots. I'm a little suspicious of anything which claims to support the tendons tbh!

Well... it was really just tendon boots because they do the job of brushing boots as well, and you don't tend to get brushing and fetlock boots in a set! It is the knocking I want to protect against, I'm not too concerned about tendon damage (I don't boot usually, just want to while he's on a circle).

And I think he came with some overreach boots, which is why I didn't mention that heheheh :)

I have a nice HKM set and a tekna set. Oh and dont worry lolo I dont believe they support his tendons in any way shape or form but the do help when he is being a clumsy oaf who forgets how many legs he has ;).

I have the brown tekna ones :D and yes they are rather nice. Mine were only about £20 for the fronts but that was back before they were all carbon fibre and what not. Might be worth shopping round though and they last really well.

Thanks for the recommendation!

I'm absolutely useless. I start out with "I want cheap and cheerful" and then I get distracted by the shiny and start wondering if the credit card will mind a bit extra

I am looking for a set like this too, I figured I might as well get tendon boots for when we have a go at jumping and inevitably fall on our faces! I would like brushing boots for the backs though as have seen a few nicks from jollies in the field. I want the tri zone ones but too many monies unless I get lucky on eBay!
