My horse is close in front so as a consequence wears boots on fronts for all riding. He has recently knocked himself on both fronts in the field so now has small scabs on the inside of both fronts!! I can't boot him as it will rub. Can only find my stable bandages , but no gamgee. I don't own any exercise bandages any more. I really need to practice a dressage test for the finals in 2 weeks and he really needs front protection. Any ideas what I can do please?

What about tubigrip over scab then brushing boot or flexi style dressage wrap? So the layers of tubigrip absorb any rubbing?
Cross posted with you. Was thinking along same lines. Worried about making his legs hot though? We don't do a long schooling session so he shouldn't get too warm.
