Had an AWESOME day hunting last saturday, lots of jumping and hedges, but when i got back to the box and began to un-tack my horse i realised that his over reach boots, (which he always wears as he tends to get through shoes rather fast!!) had rubbed his leg raw. They have never done this before but i think the pressure of the mud against them must have caused them to turn up and dig away at his pasterns. Has anyone else experienced similar problems?? I feel so bad for making him go all day with such sores, and dont think i shall boot him up at all anymore and just hope he doesnt do anymore damage than what he has already done.....
