Leg Straps?

Are you a loop one strap through the other strap person, or do you go diagonally one side to the other.

I have always been a loop it through person, I remember the diagram on my first ever (Greenham) NZ rug telling me that was the correct way

So how do you do it? Or have you cut most of them off like I have and put a fillet string there instead

We remove both leg straps and use one as a fillet string. But the correct way to use legstraps is to loop one through the other. We don't like them as if the horse lies down/rolls the straps can get very tight and cause injury.

I buy rugs with a fillet string, but if I have to do leg straps, I'm diagonally person

I usually just use a fillet string but if I have to use leg straps I loop them over.

i take the damn things off and use a single strap...
