Hi guys
Having had a few different instructors over the years and read a few different books, I am getting myself in a bit of a pickle re leg yielding.
Instructors and books seem to teach it/exlain the aids for this movement very differently.
Some say it is inside leg behind the girth to 'push them over', some say it is inside hip/groin forward, pushing in the direction of travel.
You will see my confusion - I cant have both my hip/groin pushing sideways and towards the pommel of the saddle and also have that leg far behind the girth (that would be an uncomfortable position!)
Similarly, I have been instructed to open both inside and outside hands by different instructors
If anybody can explain this to me in a basic languae that would be great!
