Hi all,
Hope you can help with an issue I'm having on a saddle I just purchased.

I bought it from a reputable shop with an excellent saddler but after a couple of weeks use one of knee rolls was obviously coming back further than it should and resting behind the knee block.

I took it back to the shop and they sent it away to be fixed.

It has come back with damage on it which the saddler believes to have been made in transit. The shop owner will now not take it back.

Who should I go to to get this remedied? I obviously don't want to clock up loads of legal fees, I just want my money back.

Just to say it's not the saddler at fault here, she's excellent, its the owner of the shop, her boss.

The shop is responsible you bought it from them in good faith it was faulty to which you gave them the chance to have it repaired they sent it away to be repaired and it came back damaged you contract is with the stippling shop not the carrier or repairer therefore the supplying shop is responsible for any loss damage caused whilst in their care
