Legal Advice

Really feel for you. It's shocking that humans do this sort of thing to animals and innocent people. If everyone was just honest about their horses instead of using them to make some cash, life for them would be different.

I agree with other posts about small claims court. A good solicitor will advise you if you have a case worth proceeding with. Gather as much evidence as possible. If you've deleted your emails, I may have a solution to get them all back for you ;-)

Google the sellers mobile, landline numbers and any other details you have for her. You might be quite surprised she's selling more than the 'odd' horse and you can bet this new found income won't be going through the Inland Revenue! Drop them right in the kazzi!

Good luck and I hope you get a satisfactory outcome for your horse and you x

Thank you everyone for all your help and advice. I have now sent off the email and the letter, so we shall see what she has to say.

I am also going to delete the response from the original owner on my first post.

Thank you again for your support and help, it has been very much appreciated in this most stressful and upsetting time.
