It is regarding what sharer is/ is not liable for.

Just a quickie - what do you have in your contract?

Whenever you have any business arrangement with anyone, no matter if they are friends, and however casual it seems, ALWAYS start off with something in writing so everyone knows where they stand. If it is with a friend say something like "Parents/whoever, insist on this ..............."

Learned the hard way!

I have a water tight contract based on the BHS contract which two friends and parents looked through so concern is not that.

Concern is more to do with owner's outstanding 'horsey' debts and whether it is possible I end up being liable for anything - they all stem from before I started sharing but want to check if I am on 'dodgy' ground.
