I put my horse with a trainer and after a few weeks he sat me down and said my horse was only novice level at best an would not take me where i want to go.

They then offerd to buy her as a lesson horse and basic competition horse for a new buisness so i agreed to sell.

Three weeks later in the chosen sport my horse has been entred at Pro level and appears to be winning i am both gutted and angry as i am a novice and thought my trainer had a duty of care towards me as a customer where do i stand legally can i go after getting him back please help i have lost my best friend over total lies and i am gutted

Unfortunately I don't think you have a leg to stand as it would be very difficult to prove what was said. Are you a member of the BHS? If you are might be worth having a chat with their legal helpline to see what their thoughts are.

I can't give you any legal advice, but why is the horse world such a deceitful place?

By the terms you are using i.e Pro and Novice can I assume you are not in the UK? because if this is the case then you need to say which country you are in to see if there are any members who could advise you?
