Legs swelling

My mare is nearly 5 months pregnant I started her on NAF brood mare supplement which caused her hind legs to swell massively (taken her off it and swelling reducing) any other good supplements? She's not in work so trying to keep food intake low until I need to feed her up!! Thanks

Can you just give her a balancer?

Yes I agree with amymay, I feed Stamm 30 to my mare because it has a decent amount of copper,they don't really contain any fat but rather essential protein. I think it works out about the dame price as a balancer. And then you don't need anything to hide the powder!
