Does anyone know of a good Tack Shop in Leicestershire?

sharnford lodge on bumblebee lane, sharnford (just off the B4114 south of narborough) is good, sells a bit of everything and does rug cleaning and repairs.
For tack I think Horse Wear House is the best, it's on the A6 in Kibworth.
There's also the Clothes Horse in Syston - mainly clothes, hats etc and rugs.

I LOVE Hurst Saddlers on Moat street in Wigston, they mostly deal in second hand or factory 2nds/end of lines but they also carry current stuff there as well and you can find absolute bargoons there. Most of my tack comes from there!

Oww that is fab - thank you very much! i want a pair of pink over reach boots (i know, the ponio will love me for ever!) to get her for xmas so i think i will try Horse Ware House.
I am sure T is desperately hoping they don't have any!

ssg I've never been there and I only live down the road from Wigston - I take it it's worth a visit then? Might have to go...

If you go to Hurst, they don't open on Sundays or Wednesdays and it's cash or cheque only so bring money with you!
Also be warned, you may go in there for one thing but then come out with more! I went in there once for some chaff and came out with a saddle as well.
You wouldn't notice it's there as it doesn't look like a tack shop form the outside, you have to look for the Hurst Saddlers sign. It's just a little bit down the road from All Saints Church if you are heading towards the Somerfield garage on Welford road. Across the road from the Crown pub and beside a Kitchen fitting shop which is on the corner.

Haha I live about 5mins down the road from Hurst Saddlers (if even that far!), I've never been there and always drive out to Horse Wear House as I have no idea how to get into Hurst's..............

Would of said horse warehouse to!
I used to drive threw wigston alot and never knew there was any tack shops there? May have to investigate do they do horse feed plus is it cheap? Even though i work in a feed shop most places are cheaper

Hi are you looking for rug cleaning or repair? there is a place opened in Kibworth that now does rug cleaning and repairs, it' called Robinson & York.
