Leisure battery

If it has all of that equiptment on it, I would put money on it having a charger. Start the generator and run it for a while. That might charge it. Failing all that, give it to me for 12months and i`ll thoroughly test everything for you and then give it back with Instructions!!!!!!!!!

:D:D:D:D:D Probably a good idea!
The only odd thing that sticks in my mind is both times I viewed it, the lights worked, ok a bit dim but Ive had it a week and they are dead. He said it needed a new battery but why have the lights died this week. I can only think it was charged for my viewing??? but why do that?? The wagon was stored in a barn and hadnt been used for a long time.
Oh, the geny is a pull start Honda, guess what Ive never used one before so apart from pull the cord, what do I do?? I presume it needs petrol or something? Told you I didnt have a clue :D

Seriouly... Please get this lorry checked over and have someone explain how things work.. If its been layed up and not in regular use there is a very good chance there is problems with the electrics!! mice or rats could have chewed wiring or built nests on the electrical system, rubber gas hoses could be perished, vents could be blocked!!
get it serviced before you try things,, we dont want to read a post about a lorry fire or personal injury..............

Perfect, Im sure you have a pretty good idea of my over cautious, need to know everythings ok sort of disposition :D:D:D. Its hopefully going to the mechanic next week for a once over, thats another story :eek: Any ideas of anywhere in the area that can check the rest? Im not bothered about the living tbh, just the need the lights.

You could try someone who does mobile caravan serviceing or you could try Phil Moston at Holmes chapel they service and repair horse boxes, more the chassis and engine side MOT and servicing but im sure they would look at the electrics for you ....

Thanks, Ive just googled it and a Lancs based horsebox autoelectrician came up who does repairs, checks etc. Im now thinking ££££££££ :eek:
But I dont want to put the lights on and go booooom do I :eek::eek::eek:
