Hi everyone,
My gelding needs some new gear and I want to get matchy-matchy but I don't which colour to get him! He's a Skewbald and I'm trying to decide between Brown and Taupe or Navy Blue...?

I use the chocolate saddle cloth with the taupe half pad on my chestnut and its gorgeous. I found the 'natural' colours looked a bit classier :)

I have the beige/brown in the dressage cut. It is a super saddlecloth and looks gawgus on my bright bay. Really nice quality and washes well at 40 keeping its shape. I liked it so much I bought the ruby red one as well!!

Thanks everyone!
MiCSarah - I decided against the grey just because I'm going to be buying him a white sheepskin one for competition and thought they would clash lol :p

Rachel - That's what I thought, however he looks very striking in navy, so I'm in two minds! :D

Dreckly - Really? Well I thought it was very smart, does yours have sheepskin on it as I wanted something thicker for XC etc but might get a Acavallo just gel lambskin if I don't buy sheepskin...?

Paint Me Proud - Was the Navy very nice? My boy looks just like Chico except a bit more roany in his colouring around his hips (Technical term...I think) ;)

Yes it's a nice dark navy, look lovely under my black saddle. I went for it because i didnt want a light colour (look dirty quicker!) but didnt want boring black either.

Oh okay, my saddle is very dark brown and liked the navy for that. Maybe I'll buy the navy for competitions and taupe/brown for at home. I thought the navy with a gold trim might look quite smart. Or perhaps white for competitions and taupe/brown at home...? I'm not sure it's just white wouldn't stay clean for long!

That was my reasoning. I have a white saddle pad and half pad for competitions so wanted something not white for daily use. Their range of colours is limited so i opted for the navy, looks lovely for everyday use, and to be honest would be fine for comps too a it's so smart.
