Leovet no rub

Anybody use it? If so, how? Do I just rub it in? Splatter it all over? Hose him down with it from a safe distance? Immerse him in it? Dab where needed? Use it as a shampoo? Anoint his stable with it to keep the itchy spirits at bay?

Am I being particularly dim? I can't find instructions anywhere online. I did find a reference to it lathering, which has made me doubt my planned approach of slapping it on. I've been given a sample bottle by a friend (because she has no use for it and got it as a freebie from the tack shop) but there's not much more than the name on the label...

I just used to squeeze it in my fillys tail/dock rub it in and leave it.

I put it into a spray bottle, sprayed thoroughly then smoothed it through the hair. I found it easier than the squirty bottle it came in!
