Lesson on a SJ schoolmaster....

My horse doesn't jump and I'm missing jumping a bit. So was wondering if there's anywhere where I can go for a jumping lesson on a experienced horse? I'm in the colchester area in Essex.

I've been looking for this in East Anglia too - dressage seem to be easier to find!

Do you have any local equestrian colleges or BHS training centres? They would have horses up to stage 4 level which should be suitable i'm sure they would offer private jumping lessons.

Might be worth contacting a few local pros. Many of them will have an older horse they own privately in a field somewhere they use for working pupils etc - worth an ask.

I used to work for an sjer on an ad hoc basis, and she gave me a few lessons on her old Grade A Cyril - he was ace!
