I'm probably getting ahead of myself but I'm in the process of getting my first horse on loan.
I'm a RS rider at the moment so the lessons are dictated by the instructor.
For those who school on their own - do you plan your schooling sessions?
Do you say to yourself - 'last lesson he was stiff on the left side so today I'll work on flexion'
Do you have long term goals and short term targets to achieve those goals?
Any tips on picking shooling exercises? Any good books?
I will continue to have proper lessons each week too to keep me on the straight and narrow!
Still all excited and nervous all at the same time!
