as above really...he lives just down the road from me and i wondered whether any one had been taught by him, and what he is like as a trainer.
thinking about maybe giving him a ring and having some lessons, although im quite scared as he'll pick me to pieces! and i am worried that me and my boy wont be good enough
should i go for it?!

I think you should go for it and let us know !

I only know one person who has lessons with him and that was someone I talked to regarding buying a horse, so didnt really know her. However she travelled probably over an hour to get to him, so he must be pretty good.

I am going to go to a clinic with Andrew Gould ! I am taking my ex-BSJAer who is a typical show jumper so you can imagine that Andrew will be able to pull us to bits!

Dont worry about thinking you are not good enough - heck that is what we pay them to train us for! To make us better than we are!!!

I would go for it, we met him without having a clue who he was, and he was one of the nicest people you could wish for, I am sure he wouldn't be fierce teaching.
His horses always go beautifully on the flat and it was normal for him to be placed at all the BE's we did, so definitely try him. (I think he's around £40 a lesson?)
He takes his young horses to our local HT and ODE for competition experience so he is well aware not everyone is Badminton standard!

Yes do it!!!
My sister had lessons with him all last year when working at the Bleekmans. He starts right with the basics and gets them goin really well. He is lovely to!!!
