Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Yes, we have a snow blizzard! Not very fun for driving back in the lorry from the hunt, we were skidding a bit -not fun!

But, now that we're home safe & sound, we can enjoy the snow! :D
 
Raining here and just saw the forecast that suggests snow from around 9pm onwards. Hope its not too bad as daughter's ride cut short when our boy went lame. She thinks bruised sole but will have to check myself in the morning, :(.
 
Yard mate just sent me a pic of very snowy yard. As one of the few with a 4x4 and me being in hospital I'm sure hubs is going to be delighted if no one can get there and he has to go do mine and feed everyone else's before visiting me tomorrow! Hes not horsey at best of times.
 
Since I last posted we now have 1 1/2 inches of the damned stuff. Just had to go out in the car and none of the roads have been gritted. :(
 
Well its snowing heavy & settling here in the south east of Sheffield after light rain for a good couple of hours. Love the white stuff & l think l'll be like quiet afew people being the only one able to get to the yard what with having a 4x4. My horse like the snow too but doubt they are too impressed with me at the moment because l decided to leave them out tonight.
 
White over here ... Near Burton on Trent .... And the good bit is, I've just moved to a yard I can walk to from home so don't need to get the car out in the morning ... Just my wellies ...!! Woohoo ....!
 
It is settling here (Yorks/Lancs border). Started sleeting about 4.30, just as we brought the horses in and by six when the dogs went out after tea, everywhere was white. Hoping that it will turn wet again and disappear before the morning. The horses have been in enough already this week because of the horrendous winds.
 
No snow here in South Cumbria yet, but we are forecast it from 9am tomorrow. Bring it on! I want to test the winter tyres I've had put on my car! I love snow!
 
I am GUTTED, WELL AND TRULEY GUTTED nothing but the most disgusting, cold, nasty, craaappy awful, BORING blasted rain in Sussex, rain, rain, rain, rain, and more sodding horrible, wet cold and NASTY yukky, awful rain.......BORING BORING SOUTH COAST. Next year I'm going away for a proper SNOWY xmas, and leaving this BORING place behind, believe me there is NOTHING festive about Sussex.
 
Snowing here in - keeps turning to sleet though. Really hoping it stops and is clear in the morning so I can get to the yard! Have someone who could do the horses for me, but I am mega fussy and would much rather do it myself!
 
Snow, snow, snow here and lots of it! I had to walk to the yard tonight as the car was completely covered and the roads u gritted, tbh though I only have a 10 min walk through the village to it. It was so pretty with all the cottages lit up and it's peaceful too, theres a funny kind of hush when it's snowing.

I've seen our first snowman!
 
No snow here, + temps, brown and green Christmas. Haven't had one of those for a while :D

No snow forecast until NY - and then only flurries and temps not hitting double figures (minus) for another 10 days - so they say. :)

Good, the longer it stays away the less time it will be here ;)
