On Sunday "Manor Bluebell Boy" arrived from Ireland. He's a 6 year old 14.2hh Connemara gelding. He just walked off the lorry and went straight in his stable, settled down like he'd always been there. He's so loving and gentle
He's very green in the school, needs a lot of work but he is very brave and willing, jumps anything you point him at.
Just arrived, checking out his new home
Here is a photo of him after his bath yesterday
And this morning
I've had words with him about stable stains and rolling in poo/mud... said i'd never buy a grey
Having a play in the brook
Nobody can decide on a name, I wanted something Irish at first and have been calling him Owen. Thought I might show him under the name Oberon, its a bit difficult to shout up the field though! and I can't say "Obi" without someone muttering "wan Kenobi" ! Suggestions welcome, but Owen may stick now!
