I've been meaning to post this for a while.
Every time I go to Mole Valley (Frome) I'm impressed by the friendly polite staff.
The checkout girls are chatty and ask what you're doing at the weekend etc (but not so chatty they hold people up)
The guys out in the feed store are always helpful loading cars etc and give you a 'have a nice weekend' (not in a cheesy American way) when they're done.
I always come away feeling pleased at the service I've received.

I like the staff at mine, I'm abroad at the mo, so doing feed order via phone, and they are always so friendly and helpful.
 
I love Mole Valley too (I use the one in South Molton when I'm down that way). The staff are lovely and helpful - when I had an awful time with my foals last year they were asking after them every day when I went in to buy (yet more) supplies!
 
I'm not close to any stores but I do buy items on line. The staff and service is fantastic, they bend over backwards to help. They can have lots of praise from me.
 
I use the South Molton store too. They are very helpful, even when I'm dithering over stuff. And I like the bacon butties from the van.
 
I have been to the S Molton store a couple of times and the staff there are excellent. However, and very unfortunately, I use the branch close to me at least twice weekly. (won't name the branch in case I shame them)
Stock control is awful. It never seems to occur to them to keep the most common items in stock. The staff in the feed loading area are poor. They seem to see a vehicle and take off in the opposite direction. Often the yard manager has loaded for me as there is no one else. Frequently I just load myself as I cannot afford the time to wait for one to appear.
Some of the staff in the store seem to think they are doing you a favour if you want something special ordered. Often you have to insist. The queues at the checkouts never seem to be resolved and there can be a line of customers whilst staff wander around doing other things that could surely wait.


I often end up going elsewhere and if I didn't have an account with them I probably would do.
 
I've only ever ordered from them online too. Easy, quick and competively priced. I had a problem with an item I purchased and the lady I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful:)
 
We have Cornwall farmers down here and u love the team in helston they are ace, but mole valley Newton abbot used to be my stomping ground and I loved it, helpful advice, large range of products and I used to swear by merry mole cool mix, that was about 15 yrs ago!
