have put this pic on before, apologies if repeating myself. This is Shy (3 years), and his best mate, the spotty shettie ( who is not mine, on loan to YO).

sorry, ot! Kokopelli were you at summerhouse this weekend? Saw a gorgeous spotty going round when I was at the tea stand and wondered if it was you? If so, then he is really really gorgeous!!

Yes I was at summerhouse on saturday :) He was being a bit of a monkey and kept napping so we was eliminated.

They are all soooo pretty. :)

A little OT (sorry op) but what breed/cross would people reccomend for a 14hhish spotted sportyish (local unaff ode sort of thing) but chunky pony? It is my dream horse and though it will be a while yet before I can get one there is no harm in planning ahead. :)

Mine has about 1/8th Welsh in him so I would imagine one with a bit more welsh would make a nice little chunky appy. Have you thought about a british spotted pony? My friend has one I wouldn't of said they were as spotty as some but they are stunning.

And Glosgirl he certainly was opinionated that day! But he did go lame on sunday so I think he may have hurt himself rather then just being really naughty.

Robin. Paint. Juno behind her is a dunalino if we are being picky.

Danny Dancing Dots, showing off his spottie bottie! He was bought on a whim from York Sales. I hadn't even looked him over before hand! Some mad compulsion just over came me. I'd been there loads of times before and never bought anything, but I was buying Dots at all costs! He has already repaid me a thousand times over!

He is an out and out childs pony, gallops over screaming for my niece, then stands making goo goo eyes over her. My sister and myself deal with the yearlings, the niece deals with Dots herself, under supervision, obviously.

On paper hes TOTALLY unsuitable for a child, hes an entire rising 3yr old who will be gelded this month, but in reality hes perfect! I wanted to keep him and break him as a ride and drive and then sell him on, but its quite hard when a 6yr old says "me and Dots are meant to be, I don't want any other pony than him, please don't sell him it will break my heart" So on Christmas day my niece is getting a huge box containing some packing stuff and his passport! :D
