I've just been reading through the latest epic ladeyandjadey post, and got really depressed. I didn't post, as everything that could have been said already has. Anyway, looking at all these pics and seeing everyone elses fabulous happy, healthy horses has cheered me up again.
Saxon ode last year. We got a lovely comment over the tanniod from the commentator saying "JD and Sandlings Saxon jumping in style!" Sax also looks like he's smiling.
I love this one as it shows what a great jump Sax has
this one of me and Ron was taken in April 2008, about a month before OH and I got married. The photographer gave us a deal where we had some 'pre-wedding' photos taken and he really wanted us with the 2 horses, but Tom is such a poser that he stood in the way and wouldn't let the photographer get us together. Menwhile, Ron had come up for a cuddle, or as much of one as he'll ever admit to!!
This is a terrible photo in so many ways but it was taken about 3seconds after I got on my unbacked 4yr old for the first time so it has to be one of my favourites
I also love this photo
and this is my favourite series of shots I've ever taken- he should be in the circus
Prince33Sp4rkle: Wow! I have been on your blog before now and thought you were doing pretty well with your exracer, but those pics are just wow, really well done on such a fab score!
So many nice photos on this thread, and so many sunny ones. It does cheer you up
Although a pic of a pic, this not only shows where the sun shines from (LOL) but also how easy my little horsey is jumping the BE novice hedge. We came 6th that day, and I was over the moon!!
Again, a big fence made look small - even the photographer cut my head off - big jump from a little mare!
And the ponies don't mind the weather shot! So sweet
I have many more, but have been good and limited myself!!
My old coblet Willow (who dragged me through the door, ate a mango, and then stood there saying "um...how do I turn around?!") about 6 years ago. She was rescued from horrible horrible people who cut the end of her tongue off and didn't get a vet, she turned into the most loving and kind little lump!
Roy boy the summer I got him, 5 years ago. Not the best photo of either of us, but it was such a wonderful day!
And my favourite photo of all time. Couloir and I - she is the first horse that I paid for with my own money, having worked every day before and after school mucking out 19 racehorses to get the money together. Now unrideable due to losing most of her sight, which has made her into a quivering wreck when you take her anywhere new, or with anyone she doesn't know, but she is the most BEAUTIFUL field ornament, and my forever friend.
Love these posts- its so lovely seeing everyone so happy with their gorgeous horses!
I've posted my absolute favourite photo on here about a million times, so thought I'd add this one seeing as it's nearly a year ago since I got married. Sadly, I couldn't have my horse there in person - so he was on top of my cake! Positioned of course where he always wants to be (between me and hubby LOL)
