I suppose these are technically in the not so hairy bracket, but they're still pretty hairy!

Hairys:

Bonnie, the Evil Hairy Coblet herself, I have to push her fuzzy chin-whiskers out of the way to fasten up her noseband :D

Theres some fab pics on here especially the friesian but i would be biased, lol.Loving the horses on here seems to be a lot of hairys and great ones at that with all there glory hanging out!also the non hairys are beautiful!cheers everyone for posting pics great thread!!!

Thankies :D I'm smitten with him.

Nothing special really tbh at the moment...use the Supreme extra moisterising conditioner spray [the green stuff, quite a bit of it too :S but there's a lot of him lol!], a comb and lots of elbow grease really. Just never get behind with keeping them and they're not really that much effort to keep presentable tbh :)

Quite lucky with him as they never get too knotted or horrible anyway....and even when they do his coat seems almost waterproof as most mud doesn't really stick to it and power hoses off fine!

Its so good to hear how dedicated you are i cant stand seeing a beutiful cob until it turns round and mat after mat in there mane and matty feathers when after a good brush and tlc they look like a completly different horse!Hence the reason as to why i love my big boy as hes a lot more horse to brush,i know that recently i have been putting a tad or a tiny drop in my hand and rubing into his feathers which have gone really soft and so easy to brush, its just his mane that aggravates me as it looks like somone has hacked at it and it drives me nuts as i just want it to grow!Thats why i asked about how do you keep the mane so long also?but seriously a great credit to you as your hairy(lol)looks fab!

Thankyou :D I love having him looking spotless and fluffy...he's my OCD horse! Haha.

So much more fun grooming than my TB, who's always shiny mostly regardless of whether he's been groomed or not lol!
