We have 3 in rescue, 2 under a year, im not a fan of them I have to say:p
I have one at mine as a foster as she had some "serious issues" in her in her old home with herprevious owner (of which I whitnessed) these issues have not reared their head in mine, i guess she became familiar with a whole new world when she stepped through my door;):D
I shal post apic tomorrow. They are smart little things, some of them anyways:p

We have had him since he was 6 weeks old. Still food aggressive even thou our other 4 dogs aren't. Took forever to house train and is possibly the most stupid dog I've ever had. Bless him. He didn't "grow up" til he was 3. Love him all the same thou. He was my OH choice of dog as he has had patterdales before. I'm more a big dog or jrt kinda girl.

Pringle is a really cool name. I really believe that the rough coated type have less aggressive temperaments having owned one of each. Although our rough coated was a bitch, which may have made her less feisty. Coco is finaly mature at 4 yrs old! It has been an uphill climb :(

Oh I love pringle, so sorry for your loss :( I think they are the best dogs and if you can persevere through their younger years, they are very special once they grow up!!

Thank you everybody :), I miss her so much :-(. I have to say that I've only ever known rough coated Patties (must be an East Midlands thing), but each and every one of them I've met, male and female, have all been very errr 'characterful' :D but with very good temperaments.

She was very trainable, a people person, thought she was really bigger than she was sometimes and had a tendency to have an 'oh yeah, wotcha gonna do then?' attitude with other - bigger - dogs :o, but had a very strong sense of right and wrong - every morning she would yap at Meggie who hadn't jumped down from the sofa quickly enough (forbidden LOL) on hearing me get up. Her only problem we ever had was that up until three years old she had a very excitable bladder and would wee when she was excited.

I originally wanted to call her Grolsch, but got over-ruled  . The moment we get settled jobs and house-wise a Patty pup from the same bloodlines is right at the top of my list!

I honestly don't know Copperpot, I got her from a chap who bred solely to keep his own line going. He lost his youngest bitch who he was going to breed off and two to old age (one of them Pringle's mum) earlier this year and it's knocked him for six.

When he's up to it again he's going to contact others who have had his pups to see who is breeding and he said he will contact me. I can ask him for further details then if you're interested?

Sprout is Pat.xJRT he is the softest dog in the world, but is very wary of strangers and wont let strangers onto the property! When he's awake that is - this dog can sleep from 8pm to 11am without getting off the bed!!

My patterdale looks completely different to everyone elses :o

I got him for my 10th Birthday and he is now 15 and a half :D The early years were very difficult, he used to destroy our house on a regular basis (cost us thousands in repairs) and run off for hours at a time. Thankfully he got over that and became a fab little dog :D

My little, Toby Jug :D
