Making the most of the beautiful weather and the ground being a bit firmer. My spotty boy absolutely loves being ridden in this weather! I’ve ridden him in all weather conditions since he was quite young so he is very sensible. There was some patchy ice on the roads in the shade but nothing too bad - I love the weather when it’s like this! Did anybody else manage to get out today?

I leave at 5.30 to get to the yard and I was clearly the only idiot driving haha, and the first driving on it so that’s worse ?

no too icey, and I had a horse flip over backwards on black ice that I couldnt see under a bit of snow, I was leading her at the time. Both of us could have been badly injured or worse. I never ride in icey conditions anymore.

J&S - yes this was one of the steadier ones we had! We’ve done a lot of hunting and he really knows his job and the ground. He’s almost 24 but please don’t tell him that! ??

ycbm - thanks yes it is fab, most of it is edges of fields around here because we are very arable.
