Leyland Daf owners - numpty question!

OK so I took delivery of my new (old) lorry yesterday - woo hoo! But I have a numpty question. There's a little round red light on at the bottom of the speedo. It doesn't come on when you first switch on, it comes on when you start to drive. I'd look in the manual but the lorry's not parked at home and work is getting in the way So before I ring the chap I bought it off and make myself look like a dunce, anyone know what it is?

It comes on once you are moving, one on the other side comes on when you reach 50 mph.

No tacho inserted = red light on - put in plastic tacho disc to prevent that
Another red light will come on at a certain speed with the default being 50 but that can be changed by a little wheel inside the tacho

ROG, do they still have to be sealed.

Please can you advise on how we check whether it's sealed? I'm assuming it is, but would rather look and learn...
