Liberty/ groundwork training book

Why not a video subscription? They have a massive advantage that you can see how you are supposed to do the exercise. This is hard to replicate in books

Groundwork & liberty are quite different?
How would you define them?
I guess I’m not sure of what I am looking for. I can do quite a few things with my horse wearing a rope halter and would like to progress to doing these with him loose. I also think he would like doing tricks. I am just looking for some fun ideas rather than a whole programme.

You are correct of course but they are more than I can afford at the moment, I like looking at books more than watching videos and I have a book token to spend!

Groundwork to me is everything not ridden

So Long reining / in hand / lunging liberty, clicker training etc

I do loads of groundwork over poles / raised poles, combinations of poles, pole straddle, side pass, jumping etc.

I can lunge & loose school with no rope. But only just learning basics of liberty.

I’d try and pay for a starter lesson & see what books they recommend

Re fun ideas, have you tried following on social media the big names in liberty work? Might be some tips etc.
