A new pony has arrived on our yard, it came from a yard up the road that we know quite well.
A livery from the previous yard (a trusted person not trouble maker!) had mentioned that the pony was only given away because it had lice/mud fever and broke through fencing.
Last night it broke through fencing so that was certainly true.
Have not seen it up close (and its rugged) so dont know about the rest.
How would I broach this with YM and ask her to check without sounding like a trouble maker?
Also quite concerned about the fact it broke through fencing so could in theory break through and get to our horses and obviously we dont want that if it may have lice...
