Lidl fleece rugs

What do people think of these? Do they move around much? They only have the girth type surcingle, single front fastening and a fillet string after all. Thoughts on a post card please!
 
I have a fleece for my GG and his fastens like this it doesnt move as fleece tends to generally stay stuck to GG's boday anyway! Mine stays stuck anyway! let me know how it is i need a new fleece anyway my gg is getting to fat for his
 
If you need it then keep it if not ill look for it on ebay! lol no if you are going to use it then keep it but if not then you may aswell make some money out of itt!
 
I don't think I would use it, I've had it a year, it's just so snuggly! I haven't listed it as a Lidl rug though - just fleece, there's a pic of it on my mare, when I tried it on her.
 
sell it then you might as well if you are not going to use it! It wouldnt bother me if it was from lidl i got some boots from then and they are great! lasted ages! Good luck selling may even bid on it myself!
 
I bought my fleece rug from lidl and have found it very nice, i have had various compliments on it from other horsey owners also

I don't like the surcingley type thingy been underneath the rug, so i unpicked it all and then sewed it back on the topside of the fleece. Bud loves his fleece, keeps him snuggly warm. It doesn't move around a lot, only prob I find is the front fastener has a tendency to come undone.

MWHAHAHA!!! i bought one of these!! it was waaaaaaay too deep and looked bloody awful on, might be o.k on a chunky horse 17hh plus!!
 
Ditto lilym, mine is in the garage unworn. I hated all of the Lidl stuff when it was on promotion last year. They do nice pastries though

I think that generalisation is a bit severe. I didn't buy any of the Lidl rugs, got too many anyway, but I did buy their Main & Tail spray & a jar of hoof balm. Both of these products were cheap & I had my reservations but when I tried them they were really good. If they ever come back into stock I'll go there again & buy several & save them.

I think alot found the rugs too big because on the continent they measure rugs differently than we do in this country & so when people bought they all ended up with larger sizes than they wanted.
 
I got the lidl rug too, really strange shape and hate the surcingle! I use mine occasionally but I couldn't leave it on him. Shame because the other lidl stuff was really good!
 
I brought one too, tried it on but didn’t like it so never used it. It’s now being used as a cover in the boot of the car, best thing for it IMO.
However brought some other stuff from Lidl that have been great.
