Hello all.
Does anyone know how long a pinworm egg survives outside the body? Eggs are deposited by the females around the anus from where they drop off or are rubbed off onto walls, fence posts etc., and are then ingested by the horse to repeat the cycle all over again. I would like to know how long they would survive on a paddock or in a stable?? I can find no information anywhere on this question.
