Life Height Certificates...

I'm asking on behalf of a friend about life height certificates, as Castle already had one when I bought him I have no idea myself how to go about it

How does she go about it, does she get the vet out? And roughly how much does it cost? Her mare is a 9 year old btw, all advice appreciated

has she been to any measurings before? this will affect it! if you go on sjai site it will give details. i think criteria is measure in two years in a row for ponies under 8. not 100% sure bout over 8 but may only have to measure once

I think she was measured once as a 4 year old, will check out the SJAI website now

Its 3 measurements i think not 2 sure depending on age but sjai should tell you

Criteria changed this year - 2 measurings of same height, 2nd measuring in or after the pony's 8th year anything before that is an annual cert. only

my mare has a LHC and has been measured 3 times. however she has still managed t compete bsja as a pony then a horse then a pony again

If you're up to date with H&H and latests fuss over height certificates - it would appear that they're not worth the paper they're written on!

Anymay..they're slightly better here..but only marginally
