Thankyou for staying with ongoing posts about my old skinney boy, but here is some, quite frankly ,amazing news 
Yesterday, he and his fields mates were so desperate for new pasture ( they were due to go onto it today), that they all escaped.
Not only did they escape but my old boy ( nearly 30yr old, TB) cleared a 5 bar gate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
THankfully the gate and fence only separate the pasture, it was a scarey moment, and no hame done, but when I calmed down, I was, and still am, amazed that he did it, and sooo elegantly, and there I was thinking those days had gone, but obviously he has other ideas
