I tried leaving my retiree's fly rug off as its quite a substantial one (SI rug) and it's supposed to be so hot this week, it also needed a good wash!
He has however been bitten all over badly, it seem unfair, he's the only one that is effected like this- this other horses there don't seem too bothered! so I want a light, not stretchy full neck with tummy coverage. I have always used PE Superlites for warmer weather but they just seem to sit wrongly on him. He's not a scrawny rangy type. Any recommendations?
I'm currently looking at the Weatherbeeta Hexi shield combo but have no experience of W'beeta fly rugs. It looks like it should be non stretch and light.
