I have a grey pony that spends most of the winter in the mud, why? I don't know as he has a lovely rug to wear outside. A perfectly manacured stable to come into every night with a nice deep bed, sweet smelling haylage, carrots and chaff. Said pony, Sam ( which stands for Soggy And Muddy) has a coat like a polar bear, thick and fluffy. He is a cantankerous g*t who will not have the clippers near him unless drugged and trussed up like a chicken. Not worth it at the moment as his work load is light.
Soggy and muddy is also very ticklish and often objects to the harsh objects needed to remove such clay sods from his coat. So, can anybody recommend a decent mud buster that can do the job with out evoking soggy and muddy to nip at one's arm, leg or any other part of one's body that happens to be in the line of fire when brushing is required to turn this equine back into the sparkling chap I would like him to be!
