Made a point of counting today 
9 lovely stinky piles, although for a change non of them were in his water bucket!

My mare does 4 or 5 but then buries 2 piles in the bottom of the shavings. If they are on minimal shavings in the summer she likes to wait until she's out in the field before weeing. On a deep bed she lets rip as soon as she sees us appear in the morning.
Occasionally she will fill the autowater bowl - but NEVER flushes.

I have 2 horses, both are 15hh, both geldings and both Sport horses...
One does 6 poo's, along the back wall/bankings of his stable, very easy to muck out !! (...However, he does wee LOADS!!)
The other does approx 13 poos, and then mashes them into his bead, and covers with fresh shavings!! ...and he uses every square inch of his bed as a toilet!!
I do wish my other lad was cleaner, but hey I love him anyway (for my sins!!)
