I'm currently learning the miracle of the light seat....I was NEVER taught about this when I was younger and have always been caught to sit back, hands up and kick on!
For a horse like Oscar it will hopefully help no end as he has a tendancy to go 'flat' or hollow, so getting off his back slightly should help.
So am I the only 'returningtoridingafteralongbreak' person who has only just found out about this?
I guess I use a light seat for hacking anyway, but didn't ever think of it for jumping.
Feel a complete novice!!!
