My OH is a dargaville lad and sent me this. Poor man and horsie. Completely freaky accident

. I was there at Christmas, Baileys beach is the most amazing ride. Didnt manage all 100km of it though.

I heard a bit about that on the end of a news item - but wasn't sure if what I heard was right. Sounds like a freaky accident, but at least it would have been quick (I think).
had thunderstorms all day today here, been inside watching them though
