Shetland pony's Premier Equine Super Lite Fly Rug has finally given up the ghost :(
He suffers from sweet itch so has to be covered from spring though to Autumn, lives out 24/7. He's got a Rhinegold combo one for when it we have showers and then he was coping well in the PE one the rest of the time. He has got a snuggy hood but he gets too hot under it hence why I ended up with the super lite PE as was super light and breathable.
Having looked they don't appear to exist anymore (typical!)
Any suggestions on another suitable option? Basically needs are full neck, belly flap and very light weight but will keep the midges off...

Thanks in advance and pic of the main man himself :)

ETA he takes a cute 4ft9" size

He’s a cutie! I have mine in Ruggles fly rugs, they work really well for sweet itch and fit really nicely as they are fully adjustable at the front.

I complained to ruggles about the last rug I had as they changed the design and it came stitched on one side of the belly flap and was too long for his tummy (and had to get the sewing machine out). I’m pretty sure they now have the fully adjustable belly flap one back now (off to google for you).

mine have lasted years and they wash lovely.

they also do a version without the ear holes but that has one side of the belly flap fixed, the link above doesn’t say if it is a fixed belly flap but if you give them a ring or email them, Diane is lovely and super helpful. (I’ve no affiliation to them but over the years have moved all of my four into just Ruggles rugs, so I now own most of the range ?).
