I tried a pair of Horze mesh chaps. They didn't fit well but I liked the concept - are there any other makes of very lightweight chaps for use when it's hot?

I think justchaps do two different mesh type chaps?

When my son was younger he had some funky coloured chaps from them that wore very well. I have some of their neoprene ones for hacking and really like them but haven’t had them long enough to comment on how well they last, but so far so good.

I'd definitely second Justchaps. I don't consider myself to have fat legs but by god do I feel like it when I try on long boots and chaps! I was starting to give up hope until I got some of their summer cool half chaps last year and love them.

Look on some of the Endurance sites like Performance Equestrian or Pioneer Endurance; they used to do these lovely mesh half-chaps which are fantastic for summer riding.

Sadly however all good things come to an end and apparently the manufacturers of them don't do them anymore. You may tho' find something on these sites which might suit?

I'm gonna have to get looking for some more soon as my trusty pair are getting decidedly raggetly.
