lightweight rugs

hi,
do mark todd lightweight rugs come up deep?
Im looking for lightweight rugs for my foals & therefore dont want a really deep brand. As they are now in 5'6 rug its looking like Im going to have to buy a horse rugs as opposed to pony ones, as most only go upto 5'3
Can anyone recommend any brands?
Or if someone likes rug shopping please can you find me a masta zing lightweight pony rug in 5'6 in stock

everywhere Iv looked seems to be out of stock!

Rhino rugs are not very deep at all in my experience..

Derby house own brand is best for youngsters IMO as they are never very deep.

Avoid Masta Zing rugs for babies as I had two, and the straps were forever coming undone (straps too long regardless of rug size).

MT rugs don't come up deep IME

I would go for Horseware Amigo range for two reasons.

The have fitted both my TB and my shallow barrel WB so are not too deep.

They are not too expensive but are built to last and don't get damaged either (My Amigo Lightweight turnout is now two and a half years (nearly three years) old and still as good as new!)

In Horseware rugs, you can now get 'pony' sizes upto 5'6, so you get the length but the depth isn't as deep as a 'horse' 5'6.

zoeshiloh & monkeybum13 - interesting to hear your opinions on zing rugs, 2 of mine have worn theses since just before xmas & iv not had any issues with the straps coming undone, they do have knots tied in them tho!

will have a look into the other brands, cost is the key here as no doubt they will have grown out of them again in a few weeks!
