Lightweight Rugs???

Was looking at getting a premier equine lightweight but have heard there are problems with them leaking?!? Any other recommendations for lightweight rugs? Thanks

Weetherbeeta, Expensive but worth the price my boy has worn it out in torrential rain and has never leaked!!
The Derby House is also very good, never leaked!! x

Amigo lightweight turnout has never leaked for me.

I bought a Derby House lightweight a couple years ago and it was rubbish quality and leaked after only a couple months use.

I'm another big amigo fan, using the lightweight just now on a yearling and it's brill. Had a medium weight on her in winter and it doesn't have a break in it! Will only use them from now on, just bought the heavy plus neck cover for old mare

i've heard amigo/horseware are very good for not leaking and lasting ages. I've used several rain rugs that just can't withstand a heavy downpour - i've resorted to putting 2 LW rugs on the horse and both stay dry, water seeps through the outer rug and the rug under only gets water seeping onto it and so remains waterproof.

Ive used the Amigos with no problems whatsoever. Great rugs.
