lightweight stirrups!

hiya,

i currently have normal, peacock stirrup irons but they are so so heavy! without them on, my saddle is very light but they make it very heavy. So I'm looking for some lightweight stirrups, preferably safety ones. Id love some free jumps but they're so expensive! Does anyone have any recommendations?

Jin stirrups are popular and very lightweight. I've only had mine a couple of months and can't say I've noticed any difference in how they make me ride but they are lightweight!

Jins are nice and light, I have Royal rider flexi stirrups which are fab. Lightweight and have a nice wide foot bed which I prefer. Don't know any lightweight safety ones off the top of my head thou.

Go for metal not plastic ones. I have heard horror stories of plastic ones snapping.

I have pink jins, they're very light and nice to ride in. I like them.

I'm another fan of Jins..lightweight and massive tread, I find them very comfy and secure.

I also have the Shires plastic Compositi (?) stirrups in pink, cheap and cheerful but do the job.

I have Jins on my jump and dressage saddle, love them very comfortable and lightweight.
