lightweight turnouts

can anyone recommend a really waterproof lightweight turnout is the shires tempest good or the gee tac i have an amigo 600g one at the moment and it really isnt waterproof

Have you tried the amigo 1200 lite? I've got both and find the 1200 is great in the heavier spring/summer rain and use the 600 for the lighter shower days.

Another good one the the sunshower by Bucas. More expensive than the amigos, but worth spending out for.

I bought the Shires one this spring and so far it is wonderful. I use their medium weight ones too, and have had 3 years from them so far!

With turnouts always try and go for the highest D possible, particularly with Amigo. Have heard great things about the Amigo 1200D, or pretty much any of the Rambos xx

Oh and also try and re-proof them every so often, so when you wash and put them away for the end of the season it's a good idea to re-proof them. xx
