Has anyone tried or bought these for their horses?
I bought one today in all intention for the horse not me lol and after hearing about how nice likits were and people have tasted them, curiosity got the better of me and had a taste.. and now ive eaten half of it... not sure it will last to see the horse!!!
The taste reminds me of ediburugh rock ( my fave ) SO nice I have the apple one! -

I'm curious now is all likits like this? I always assumed they where like salt licks and quite hard but the treatbars are quite soft and melt in your mouth and put together like a bar of chocolate.
Though perhaps I shouldn't know incase I end up buying a huge one for me....
please tell me I'm not the only one who has developed a taste for these haha.

Ive had a green one and a pink one :D Both nice.

No idea what the flavours were, cant remember. I dont feed my horses that rubbish but I will eat them myself lol. They remind me of some sort of sweet I had as a kid and cant remember what.

Perhaps edinburgh rock? thats what they remind me off they have that distinct taste and hotness about them.
I want to try the other flavors now.....odear. :(

Must admit, I do occasionally nibble on the mint one.

Rather like peppermint creams.

Then again, I have also tasted chaff, speedibeet and linseed too. All vile! Lol. I'll stick with the mint bars.

Yes agreed - very peppermint cream like :D

I like chaff, don't mind speedibeet and am rather fond of mixes and barley :o

 I lead a very sheltered life! I had one free with a mag once, went right through the American Barn to see if any horse wanted a piece. They all spat it out! Good enough reason to not taste!:D

I'm going to end up buying one just to try it next time I'm in the feed shop :(
........... and peppermint creams when I'm next in the supermarket *dribbles*

Arg no! Don't tell me things like this! I'm terrible for trying the ponio's food - you know to see what it tastes like :D - and I would scoff the lot if it was properly tasty! ha ha! :D

The apple one tastes like the candy necklaces you can get and the cherry one is yummy :D Also tried carrot but it didnt really taste of carrot.

They are nice. Bought one to give little pony for first clip, daughter & I ate it. As kids we used to eat oat & barley mash & meadow mix.

I tried them a few weeks ago and found them sooooooooo sweet!!!! Maybe too sweet, i'll probably be trying new treats with my two! And keep the left over likits for when i need a sugar rush :D

just finished it off, i don't want to know how many calories I'm just consumed LOL...
my lack of will power now goes onto horse treats deary me, save me from myself plz!

I dont use the treat bars but i often buy him the "little lickits" and i eat the little loose "crumbs" that are on top.

Mint, winter berry and butterscotch are particularly nice :o

Have just bought 1 each of the new cocunut, watermelon and raspberry flavours so will have to sample them before he has them :p
