Anyone tried them? The treat bars an the little heart shaped ones in a packet, have heard they're full of sugar so wondering if they're going to send G loopy... He's sane but just wondering if anyone could give an opinion on them! The only time I would be using them is after I've caught him as he can be difficult. No other time at all- not a fan of random treat giving! Anyway, if anyone could give an opinion, whether they're any good or not/if they've sent their horse's energy levels through the roof that would be much appreciated! Happy Christmas too, hope you all had a wonderful day!

My friend gave me a cherry bar for the boy, he's a big lad, I doubt a couple of squares will harm. I tried it, it's v sugary, but quite nice! :redface3:

I eat them (cherry one is amazing!) but wouldn't buy them for my horses. They're full of sugar and will rot their teeth over time.

I'd give him a bit of carrot instead.

the little ones in the packet are biscuit type treats so not as sugary as the bars

I give one of my ponies a couple of squares of treat bar every so often, like anything if its in moderation it should be fine, I also ration carrots too.
