With no warning they're spreading lime on my horses' fields today. I've taken the horses into the yard but do I have to keep them off the pasture for any length of time?

If its LimeX then no, its quite safe to graze on. I rang LimeX for advice and there is no restrictions on it for grazing.

Rain wont wash it in as its slow release so mine is still sitting on the soil 6 weeks after it was applied.
