I was just wondering if Lincoln Koff Syrup is ok to use on laminitus prone horses? i was just abit concerned with the sugar content? has anyone else used this on a horse who has had laminitus in the past and whether it was ok?

Check with LT as BOF has said

Depends on why your horse is coughing, I'd be more inclined to give a respiratory supplement, NAF respirator liquid 1st, then when you've finished that bottle go onto the powder, I've had great results with it with my COPD horse.

Personally I don't think cough syrup's do much good. Years ago we used to give Benelin

There are loads of this type of supplement out there, they usually contain some sort of antioxidants to get rid of the toxins creating the problem
