Lincoln peeps, how is the ground?

As the title says, am in at Oasby on Saturday, but was wondering if they will go ahead because the rain is forecast to continue for the rest of eternity.....

If anybody has an inkling it would be greatly appreciated, in order that a plan B could be formulated!

Soggy and grim!! Was discussing Oasby this weekend, general consensus is they will prob run some sections, as only vcancelled one day lats year due to the parking, and alot has been done to improve it this year.....

Yep they cancelled one day but apparently that was due to the parking which has been improved.....

I'm entered for Oasby too - we are on Friday - fingers crossed for the ground. Can report back on Friday night if that helps anyone.

This a dreadful thing to say,but I am beginning to hope they cancel. If the ground is going to be bottomless I would sooner go somewhere else and loose my entry money than travel all the way there just to do the dressage and show jumping.

Danethorpe is still closed I know that much. I rang them at the weekend and they couldnt forsee being open for at least 2 weeks....

I have just had an e-mail from Oasby to say that they are doing everything possible to be able to run, but it really depends on the weather on Thursday.
