Any views/experiences of any of these farriers please?

Dean Brash
Jason Tacey
Rus Nicholls
Will Nicholls
Ed Nicholls
Matt Strawson
Robert Pears

Ideally barefoot friendly and a bonus if they turn up when they say they will. Thanks

Will Nicholls comes to my yard and seems like a nice guy who does decent work. I was told recently Will didn't have capacity for new clients, but that may have changed. I would also give Jason Tacey ago. He did his training with my old farrier and I really liked his work back then.

I've heard positive comments about all those on your list but don't know their work personally. I use Evan Williams who is very barefoot friendly and always reliable. Not sure whether he's taking anyone on though.

I use Evan, I really rate him. Not sure how wide an area he covers nowadays though. He always seems so busy. If I couldn't use Evan, Will and Jason would be top of the list. Jason's brother is my equine dentist

I use Robert Pears and have done for approx 15 yrs. Never had an issue. I have heard good reports of Russel Nichols and Jason Tacey
